I know my child is an artistic genius, because even though she can paint Figuratively very well, sometimes she chooses to paint Abstract just because she can.

I read this and it made me smile. The thing I like about my kid's artwork is the sheer freedom of it - in terms of colour, style, etc. They have no self-imposed boundaries. My daughter's latest artwork offering is the thing I look forward to most at kinder pickup - other than her sweet face of course.
